Events Assistant
Events Assistant will work closely with the Events Manager to assist with the planning, coordination and execution of events for both internal and external clients and affiliate organizations, including reserving appropriate meeting space; coordinating logistics, audio-visual and food/beverage requirements. Will also be responsible for data entry, copying, filing, screening phone calls, generating reports, maintaining client records, creating and maintaining spreadsheets, signage, and invoicing.


Experience in Peoplecube ResourceScheduler and CaterTrax.
Minimum 1-2 years experience in event planning or related field.
Must be detail oriented with excellent communication and computer skills; have the ability to problem solve and work well under pressure.
Must have the ability and skills to interact with clients and in-house staff and assist in the management of on-site conference support staff.
Some supervisory experience helpful.
Hours of employment can vary and will include some evenings and weekends.
