Senior Account Supervisor
This Senior Account Supervisor position is responsible for managing day-to-day activities for a high-profile, fast-paced pharmaceutical account that encompasses a broad spectrum of PR activities, including third-party collaborations, un-branded awareness initiatives and branded product support. Previous experience in vaccines and/or infectious diseases is a plus.


Primary Responsibilities
Serve as team builder to self-direct on own responsibilities, support junior staff, seek guidance from senior managers and keep everyone informed, play active role internal and client meetings.
Supervise project management, manage and direct account activity including research and planning to tactical execution, managing work flow and details, meeting internal and client deadlines, and handle all aspects of account administration.
Contribute strategic/creative ideas for tactics to meet client challenges.
Develop a range of audience-appropriate written materials.
Craft and conduct media pitches: requires understanding of traditional and social media outlets.
Maintain budgets, assuring quality control and including management of invoices and activity reports.

Ideal Candidate
6+ years of public relations agency or combination of agency plus in-house pharmaceutical/corporate or non-profit healthcare communications experience. Experience with national and local market PR campaign management, media relations, scientific data meetings and data announcements, product launches, familiarity with the FDA approvals and advisory committee meetings. Financial management of budgets $500,000+. Must be fast learner and motivated for success and growth of self, team and accounts.
