Type of position: Permanent
Senior Market data support person, must come from a WOMBAT Market Data environment.
Excellent communication skills, this person will deal with the business all day everyday.
The person will be responsible for the Production support of the Low Latency, High Performance Market Data Distribution System based on the industry leading technology platform from Wombat. The platform has direct high speed connectivity to many Global Cash and Derivatives Exchanges and is deployed globally and extends to Exchange Co-Lo facilities. The responsibilities include Wombat Feed Handlers (CTA, UTP, ITCH, ARCA, BATS, OPRA, CME, Montreal, etc) software deployment and upgrades, exchange driven changes, functionality/performance/capacity/bug fixes, feed handler configurations, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting and support for Application development teams. Person should have Wombat experience using one or more of the following Middleware's Tibco RV, LBM or Wombat Data Fabric. Person should have strong background and experience in using and working with Linux platform. Person should be self motivated, result oriented and a good team player.
