Our client, one of the main European financial services companies, is seeking a Project Manager.

The client Equity Derivatives and Fixed Income business has been the world leader for the last four years. Client trades different listed and OTC products in multiple strategies such as stocks, options, Futures, ETF, CDS, Notes, repos, and swaps in a complex set of legal entities involving proprietary and agency trading. As this business evolves and continues to develop in a difficult economic context, we require dynamic and motivated resources to build the best and most effective technology environment in order to help the business reach its goals.
Responsibilities:
Part of the Information Technology team, the candidate will provide business analysis for the Equity Finance business. Candidate should have a significant experience with all facets of traditional business analysis: business requirements definition, process workflow evaluation and documentation, gap analysis, evaluating and recommending solutions, risk/reward and cost/benefit analysis, creation of long- and short-term migration plans, creation of test plans, ability to manage UAT process, etc.
Provide project management within the Equity Finance and Treasury department in NY. Candidate will have a project management role: depending on some topics, the candidate will use project management skills to coordinate the different changes needed to answer the users' requirements. The candidate will need to plan, follow-up estimates/actual, alert on the different risks met to deliver on-time and in-budget the different needs. The project size could vary from small enhancements to bigger projects.
The position involves many teams and the definition of the process workflow is key, therefore strong coordination and communication skills are essentials.

Full Development Life Cycle Experience
Knowledge of Loanet software
MS Office Suite

Quality methodology (6Sigma.)
Knowledge of APEX/Martini, Smartloan software
Knowledge of Impact or BPS software
SQL Concepts
Knowledge of Client Server technology concepts
Database Modeling Concepts
Clear written and verbal communication skills, appropriate to a given audience,(technical, functional, etc.)
Ability to analyze complex workflow methodologies and make process re-engineering automation recommendations.
Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a very dynamic environment, with rapidly changing priorities.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Must be able to interact with a variety of clients and support staff - traders, Middle Office, development, infrastructure, etc.
Must be able to provide accurate estimation of work effort, and effective status to management as well as clients.
Rigorous
Knowledge of Securities Finance activities with concentration on Securities Lending & REPO
Knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income products
Knowledge of trading and brokerage operations - front to back
Business Analysis or Project Management experience in Equities front/Back Office applications, specifically in the brokerage industry 3 years or more
Experience providing documentation to both technical and client audiences
At least 5 years of work experience in finance
