The client is a woven fabrics producer in a number of important markets. This Market Manager will be involved in shirting and uniform markets. Duties include: Maintaining and constructing product lines, budgeting annual sales by style by month by price, observing and enforcing maintenance of Salesman's perpetual forecasts throughout the year, working with the Administrative Manager to adjust manufacturing output to meet sales requirements, manage inventories, purchase greige goods and finishing services from outside vendors, price products and customer programs, work with greige and finishing plants in planning and other product issues, work with Product Development Dept. to achieve introduction of new products, and find solutions to problems and challenges related to all of the above. Knowledge of textile processes and plant capabilities would be very useful background. The traits of attention to detail, good organization, and consistent follow-up would be very helpful as well.
