A high-end event management company in Long Island, NY is looking for an event Sales and Marketing/PR rock star.
We are a rapidly growing event management company that produces conferences, seminars, training, networking events.
We have undergone several changes and are looking to add to our team a go-getter who knows what they're doing, wants to grow with us and loves to be in the event manegement industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Promoting our events!
2. Developing high-level relationships with current and potential clients.
3. Closing on exhibitor and sponsorship sales leads.
4. Going to new locations to network and gain contacts.
5. Developing brand recognition for our company.
6. Assisting with managing the events.
Requirements:
· Experience and/or Bachelors/Masters in Business/ Marketing/ PR/ Sales
· A strong presence and effective speaking voice
· Amazing communication skills and a “people person”
· Excellent sales and marketing skills
· Willingness and ability to work outside of the office environment with minimal supervision:
- Going to networking events, conferences, meeting with potential clients and companies, etc.
· Must have a presentable professional look and demeanor at all times
· Provide own vehicle (please do not apply if you rely on public transportation)
· Prior connections in the industry is a plus
The ideal candidate is an extremely motivated and passionate person who is able to think outside the box and go the extra mile.
There is no telemarketing! This is a hybrid Marketing/PR/Sales position. You will be in various locations introducing our company and developing relationships.
Compensation: This is a Contract position.
