Marketing Associate -- Manage RFP Process for Asset Management Firm
Top tier hedge fund of funds asset management firm seeks an experienced candidate for an associate position in the Marketing Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the RFP process, responding to ad hoc information requests, and managing all client/prospect reporting.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree from a top school with minimum of 2-3 years work experience
Experience in the finance and/or hedge fund environment preferred
Strong attention to detail with excellent writing and proofreading skills
Solid Excel and quantitative skills
Responsibilities
Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process; identify and complete questions that are similar to past RFP responses; gather and compile data on assets, and performance employee growth as necessary to respond to questions; and coordinate with investment and operations team to gather information that cannot be completed by marketing
Respond to ad hoc information requests from clients, consultants and prospects; gather and send performance and asset data; update and send marketing presentations; and provide account information to clients
Manage all client/prospect reporting; prepare and distribute monthly reports, including writing portfolio commentaries (with assistance from portfolio managers); and provide performance updates to consultants and databases
