Company:New York City’s most prestigious real estate private equity investment and development company seeks entrepreneur (CPA a +) with 7+ yrs hands-on hedge fund or private equity real estate fund or trust/joint venture and SEC and SOX reporting a must. Any REIT experience a +. The executive position will be responsible for diverse accounting, GAAP, reporting and financial/analytical functions of a multi-faceted portfolio that includes commercial, residential, hospitality and retail projects. Will provide direction and management to the organization’s fiscal function. Build, develop and manage the financial team. Oversees the annual budget process, strategic planning and analysis as well as business initiatives. Provides timely financial reports and financial trends to assist the CEO, board and other executives. Ensures proper control/standards are maintained. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues. Act as advisor on any contracts into which the organization may enter.
